Last week we had seven students from the Gordon TAFE Conservation Land Management course come and visit one of our sites to learn more about managing coastal environments.
We joined them at the St Leonards bluff, where works have recently been completed. A Bellarine Bayside representative went through management practices and procedures relevant to St Leonards Bluff works, giving them an understanding of the site history, principles, practices and procedures that we utilise within the site in order to effectively manage works.
It was a great day, with really positive feedback and plenty of interest from the young students. It is fantastic to see the next crop of land managers so passionate about preserving these important environmental areas.
