The new Committee at Bellarine Bayside is listening to campers and the community.
Listening posts were facilitated over the long weekend at each of our Holiday Parks to help us to consider camping fees for next yea. We also asked generally how we can improve our park facilities, services and the environmental value of our reserves.
Feedback from these discussions and the online survey will help determine the fairest and most acceptable fee structure. The Committee believes that it is important that there is a consistency within our fee structure and that we should aim to provide a high quality of service comparable with other parks on the Bellarine and Surf Coast.
To maintain a reasonable standard of Holiday Park and ensure that our coastline remains a safe and healthy environment, it is necessary to increase revenue. Camping fees represent 96% of our income.
Interested people are encouraged to complete the online survey by the Monday 16 March at www.surveymonkey.com/s/feedback_about_camponf_fees .
The Committee will make a decision about fees by the beginning of April.
