Bellarine Bayside is the appointed Committee of Management for the local coastal reserve from Point Richards in Portarlington to Edwards Point in St Leonards. The Bellarine Bayside Committee is responsible for the planning, management, care and protection of the assets and Crown Land along (approximately) 17kms of foreshore, including management of six caravan parks which form the primary revenue source.
Reporting to the Committee of Management, your role as CEO will be to provide effective management of the organisation in this all-encompassing role. You will be responsible for organisational performance, with a focus on achieving agreed organisational objectives and priorities as set out in the strategic plan.
Community and stakeholder engagement is key; you will be a natural leader with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups. Your experience with management committees or government will be highly regarded. Knowledge of coastal management or natural resource management is desirable but not essential.
You will be leading a knowledgeable, passionate team providing an attractive, tranquil and safe coastal environment to locals and holiday makers.
